Individual Sessions

The AACE Metrix Individual Counselling service provides personalised, one-on-one support for individuals seeking help with alcohol and other drug use, as well as related mental health concerns. These sessions offer a confidential and supportive environment where you can work closely with our experienced clinical team to explore the challenges you are facing and develop practical, tailored strategies that support meaningful and lasting change. Individual counselling allows treatment to be adapted to your specific circumstances, goals, and stage of recovery, ensuring care that is responsive to your needs.

A key focus of our approach is the integrated treatment of addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. Many individuals experience concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, or burnout alongside substance use. Our clinicians utilise evidence-based psychological approaches to address these issues together rather than in isolation, helping you build healthier coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen overall wellbeing. By taking a holistic view of your mental health, lifestyle, and environment, we aim to support long-term stability and improved quality of life.

As part of the assessment and treatment process, the AACE Metrix program also offers a comprehensive Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) clinical assessment conducted by our Clinical Nurse. This detailed evaluation helps to understand the extent and patterns of substance use, relevant medical and psychological factors, and any associated risks or impacts. The assessment forms the foundation for personalised treatment planning, ensuring recommendations and interventions are clinically informed and appropriate for your individual situation. Together, these services support a structured, compassionate pathway toward recovery and ongoing wellbeing.
